Our Clothing Recycling Program

We have developed a recycling program which works very well and helps us raise the majority of our funds throughout the year. We have contracted different professional recycling companies to handle the majority of the operation of our clothing recycling program.

We have brand new, four foot by four foot, clothing donation centers strategically placed for the convenience of our supporters to be able to drop off their unwanted clothing, shoes and household items in our receptacles.

We place our receptacles with permission at highly frequented locations such as your local big box retailers, gas stations, supermarkets and schools.

We believe you should not have to make a special trip to donate your items like you would have to do if you want to donate to a conventional charity such as Goodwill or Salvation Army.

With our program, all you have to do is leave your bag of things to donate in the trunk of your car then when you see one of our donation centers you can easily drop your bag in the large opening in the front of the receptacle. Each of the recyclers will be emptied several times a week by a professional, fully licensed and insured recycling company. The recycling company pays us for all of the clothing and other items it picks up from our receptacles which equates to hundreds of thousands of dollars for Go Green for the Cause nationally.
