Go Green For the Cause

My name is Nicole Leve and I am the executive director of Go Green for the Cause. Before starting this charity, I worked as a mental health counselor. Although rewarding, I wanted the chance to do more. With the incidence of cancer on the rise, each of us is inevitably affected by this disease in some way. I have lost family members from various forms of cancer and have watched others go through this as well. I started Go Green for the Cause as a way to honor these individuals and at the same time honor our earth with a great recycling program. Now you can “Go Green” by recycling shoes and clothing, etc. and in turn give back to organizations that support individuals affected by cancer.

My name is Judith (Jamie) Levine and I am a cancer survivor.  In 1994 I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. I had a thyroidectomy in 1994 and then had radioactive iodine 131. I am now cancer free. I am married for 15 years to my husband Adam, and we have three children, ages 12, 9, and 6.  I am a sales representative for a national medical supply company called Physician Sales and Service. I am reminded of how lucky I am to have had a very treatable form of cancer, as I spend a great deal of my time in doctor's offices, many of which take care of cancer patients.

My name is Robert Woods. I am a Human Resources Professional currently residing in Northern NJ. I have lost two grandparents and several friends to cancer. The unfortunate end to their lives caused by this terrible and painful disease has not been in vain. These deaths serve as stark reminders of how much we still need to learn in the fight against cancer. I am honored to help in any way I can and do my part in the fight against this disease.
